blog post numba 2...

Just read back in my blog to see how I am doing with my goals and such and am quite happy with myself. A few of my new years resolutions were to eat better and go back to school. Well, I am still planning on going back to school in Fall, just hasn't come around yet and as I said...classes are out this month for me to plan! The eating better one has been going great. We still eat out occasionally, but when we eat at home we eat pretty well. We don't buy a lot of snacks besides yogurt and pita chips with hummus...and are good with portioning out what we will eat in that sitting. I went on a little kick where I was eating way too many fries from work, but have discovered the loveliness of our salads and am being better about ordering those rather than the fries... yay me. So besides my fry mishaps we are successful and it makes me happy.  Not only are we eating well, but I am on top of all our bills. They are due anywhere from the 1st to the 20th of the month, so at first ...

i really need to get my act together!!

Well, when I get into a mood; I really want to get things done...but MOST of the time I'm just trying to keep my house clean, get to work on time, and have time for my friends and family! Right now I'm in the middle of my day off, and have started wandering around our place doing little things here and there. Cleaning and straightening up the closet is where I began...then I moved onto the bathroom sink, started cleaning the area and the toilet...the shower....moved onto folding the clean clothes that have been sitting there for a week now...haha. And then I moved downstairs and realized I felt crafty! I have had these plates for awhile that I MUST GET ON THE WALL! I found a tutorial online using a paperclip, sand paper and super glue that seems to hold up plates really well, yet I have no sand paper or super glue....grr. I will most likely be going out to grab those items before the day is over and putting up my plates. But then once I got to thinking about where  my plates ar...
